Its going to be wild.

Kruger National Park Game Drives and Safaris

From Komati River Chalets:

We offer guided, half or full day Kruger National Park open top vehicle or closed vehicle game drive directly from our property. Our guides are highly qualified, experienced, attentive and passionate about every aspect of safari.

Kruger National Park.

Morning Drives:
Morning drives leave a half hour before official gate opening times, which vary according to the time of year, which means you will be the only guests driving around at that time. The drives' duration is around 3 hours and you will be able to enjoy the tranquility of the Kruger National Park at Sunrise. You will be transported on one of the Kruger National Park open vehicles from your camp of residence or entrance gate.

Sunset Drives:
These drives leave the camp before dusk and return after sunset lasting around three hours. Sunset is a time when night animals  and predators emerge and a drive during this period is the perfect opportunity to witness the beauty of the bush as it changes from day to night.

Night Drives:
Night drives depart at either 19:30 or 20:00 depending on the time of year and last for around two hours. Kruger's nocturnal creatures are the stars of this show and you will have great insight into their secretive activities. It is also a wonderful opportunity to view our star filled sky away from city lights.

River Walks: (Free of charge and only available to in house guests)
The Komati River itself is no more the 50 meters from any of the chalets and cottages. A thick riverside forest occurs all along the river banks. There are numerous path ways through the beautiful age old indigenous tree forest sporting beautiful views of the Komati River and some of its animal and bird life. The river is the home to wild crocodile and hippos so care must be taken at all times when walking in the forest.
